YouTuber LukeYui is working on a mod for Elden Ring that makes multiplayer more seamless by removing disconnects after death.
Elden Ring's co-op works in much the same way as other FromSoft games, allowing players to join others through summon signs and then disappearing
This has been criticised a little in Elden Ring thanks to how big the game is and how some players want to just stick with their friends to experience the Lands Between
YouTuber LukeYui is working on a mod that aims to fix that by making multiplayer more seamless and removing some of the more annoying elements of how it works.
Two videos showing off the mod have been posted on LukeYui's YouTube.
One shows off the seamless multiplayer in action, with the cooperative player showing up without the use of a summon sign or Furlcalling Finger Remedy.
The second video shows some more of the features that can be expected from the mod, including becoming a spectator upon dying during a boss fight to keep the challenge, voting on where to fast-travel on the map
LukeYui describes the mod in the first video as a "mod which removes all multiplayer boundaries and allows for connections to persist after death.
